Paul Ebeltoft elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prairie Public Broadcasting

One of our lawyers, Paul Ebeltoft, has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prairie Public Broadcasting. With radio and television stations covering all of North Dakota and parts of Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana and Manitoba, Prairie Public is committed to promoting civil discourse, lifelong learning and regional identity. Its television channels cover the prairie region on regular broadcast channels and on four high definition digital channels, including world programing, the MN Channel and a lifelong learning channel for adults. Prairie Public also fully occupies the children’s educational television programing space, offering children, both in-school and home-schooled, the greatest educational television and video programming available anywhere. Prairie Public radio listeners can tune to its classical station or Prairie Public’s roots, rock and jazz station. Prairie public’s radio news reporters are nationally known for on-the-ground coverage of energy issues and, most recently, the controversy triggered by the Dakota Access Pipeline. Paul and his wife, Gail, have been members of Prairie Public since its radio station first reached western North Dakota in 1981. Paul served as a member of the Radio Advisory Council for six years and has been a Board member of Prairie Public for five years. He assumed the chairmanship after the Annual Meeting of Prairie Public Broadcasting held on October 28, 2016. Congrats, Paul!
