Kevin Koach

At Ebeltoft . Sickler . Lawyers, Kevin primarily practices within the Litigation Solutions and Real Estate Teams, where he maintains an emphasis in Oil and Gas law. Before joining Ebeltoft . Sickler . Lawyers, Kevin practiced in North Carolina focusing on Real Property law.

Kevin is a 2024 graduate of the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Prior to his time in law school, Kevin attended college at Clemson University in South Carolina where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Upon graduation, Kevin struck out for the plains of North Dakota where he spent the next six years working in the Oil and Gas industry, primarily in the midstream services sector. During his first stint in North Dakota, he helped create and grow several oilfield service companies and was heavily involved in the day-to-day operations. Kevin eventually fell for a Dickinson girl and after they married in 2019, Kevin and his family moved to North Carolina. While in North Carolina Kevin worked as a real estate agent while putting himself through law school. Upon graduation he worked with a local law firm which focused heavily on Real Property law. Kevin’s background gives him unique insight into the needs of his clients in the Bakken and its every-changing landscape.

Soon after welcoming their second child in March 2025, Kevin and his young family decided the lure of being close to family was too great and moved back to Dickinson to raise their family close to home. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys a stress-free round of golf, opening weekends for pheasant and deer seasons, and spending time with his wife as they watch their two beautiful children flourish. In addition to his law licenses, Kevin is scuba certified and has his private pilot license.
