Karen Jirges is the office administrator of Ebeltoft . Sickler . Lawyers. She is the linchpin around which the day-to-day functioning of our office revolves. Her calm attention to concerns, her intelligence in seeking out new, better ways of doing business, her willingness to personally go beyond whatever she asks of others has earned Karen the unqualified respect and admiration of our lawyers, our staff, our vendors and our clients.
Karen began her career in a law office environment in 1982. Since then, Karen has, at various times, been entirely responsible for nearly all aspects of a highly-functioning office including client billing, office accounting and budgeting, staff and capital expense budgeting, administration of profit sharing and flexible benefits plans, marketing, technology, coordination of building decoration, maintenance, repair and design, human resource management, payroll, and insurance portfolios.
Karen is a member of the Southwest Area Human Resource Association and the Society of Human Resource Management.
Karen and her husband, Jeff, have two daughters. The family enjoys attending sporting events and traveling. When not working at the office, Karen's most enjoyable pastimes are reading, tending to perennial flower beds and spending time with family and friends.
